Chingo Bling and NB Ridaz Concert | 6.19.2005
Anaheim, California (6.19.2005) - The Ghetto Vaquero, El Mariachi Versace, known to us BrownPriders as Chingo Bling a.k.a. El Tamale King from Houston, Tejas came down to California for a special performance along with Arizona's NB Ridaz last night at the Groove Theatre. Chingo Bling and NB Ridaz didn't disappoint the thousands of Latinas and Latinos loving every minute of their performances. Chingo Bling and his partner in crime Stunta whipped the crowd into frenzy with their comedic rap songs like "Taco Shop", "Walk like Cleto", and "Ostrich Boots", Chingo blends hip-hop and Mexican culture together and creates an estilo uniquely his own. The way Chingo carries himself on stage and the way the crowd responses to him, all jokes aside he’s the real deal.
NB Ridaz has endured many trials and tribulations to get to the point that they are now in their careers. Formally known as Nastyboy Klick with their hit song “Lost in Love”, the group changed their name to NB Ridaz in 2001 and their career took off from there. With their latest album titled “NBRidaz.com,” and their smash hits “So Fly” and "Pretty Girl", played on rap, hip-hop, pop, and Latin stations nation wide. Their music has a category all its own as well, it's not exactly hip-hop, and not exactly pop music or Latin music, but a blend of all three falling under the umbrella of Latino Hip-Hop. However you want to classify them you can’t deny their appeal to their female audience that loves their music for their catchy love songs that strikes accord with young Latinas that know the lyrics to ever song and can’t get enough of NB Ridaz's music.
The theme of the night was how Latinos are taking over the industry nation wide, so pick up the Chingo Blings, Lil Robs, and Baby Bashes albums when their drop and support the growing movement, Latinos taking over for 2005, like Chingo Bling says "Por Favor Believe It!"
